Children’s Learning Center (CLC)

The Children’s Learning Center is IMPACT’s Sunday Programming. We have something for Nursery through 6th Grade students.

• Nursery: Meets during the entire service
• 2/3 Year Old Classes: Meets during the entire service
• 4/5 Year Old Classes: Meets during the entire service

All preschool and younger students need to be checked in by a parent/guardian and checked out by the same. Each child will have a numbered nametag filled out by the parent/guardian. This will also give us information regarding allergies, etc. The person signing in the student will keep a tag with the same number that will be used when picking up the child.

• K-6th Grade (1st Service): Dismissed from the regular worship service to attend their classes. Bible teaching is based on the “Show Me Jesus” curriculum published by Great Commission Publications (the PCA publisher).
• K-6th Grade (2nd Service): Meet during the entire service. They attend an age-appropriate Children’s Worship Service, beginning with small group time in their appropriate classrooms. Bible teaching is based on “252 Basics” by The ReThink Group. Both curriculums (1st and 2nd service) allow children to process where they are in following Jesus by helping them learn God’s covenant promises throughout the Bible and how that applies to how we live our lives today.

Club 15

This is a pre-youth group for our 4th through 6th Grade students. They meet for a time of fun, games, snacks, learning, and getting to know each other better. There are also opportunities for occasional service projects.

Regular Meetings:
2nd & 4th Sundays of each month
4:00-6:00 at DCC

VeBS

DCC has a long tradition of involvement with our particular twist on Vacation Bible School. We call it VeBS: “Very Exciting Bible School”! We’ll update this section with specific information as plans for summer 2010 are made.
