Our Student Ministry to 7th-12th grade students is called 117 Ministries based on Jesus’ call to his disciples in Mark 1:17 - “Follow me and I will make you become fishers of men.” It is this call to follow Jesus and to draw others into relationship with Him that reverberates at the core of our ministry.
Our mission is to impact every teen in the Littleton area through building relationships so they can experience Jesus.
Contact our Youth Pastor, Joseph McCormick, for questions or to learn more (303-933-9300 x 207).
117 Ministries meets downstairs at Deer Creek Church on Wednesday's from 7:00-8:30 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM for students to come hang out). These nights are focused on teaching biblical principles, worshiping together as a group, and spending time in small group discussions. Of course, there are plenty of games, jokes, and laughs! Whether you're a new Christian, been a Christian "all your life," or someone who has questions...117 is for YOU. We understand that the student years are some of the most formative years in your life. This transition to adulthood comes with many challenges. These years are never easy - but always remember - you are never alone. We at 117 want to come alongside you as you discover more about who you truly are and what it means to live a life in relationship with Jesus Christ.
Youth Night: In this series, we will take a look at three significant changes that middle-school and high-school students experience: the physical changes of their bodies, the emotional changes in their heart/mind, and most importantly the changes they go through in their approach to their relationship with God. The goal is for students to embrace change and understand that it is a normal and healthy part of God's process of shaping us into who he wants us to be.

Youth Night: Over the course of the entire summer, we will be engaging in a "Why We?" series which will present to students a foundational understanding of some of the basic beliefs of Christianity. Some sample topics will be: "Why do We Pray?", "Why Do We Study the Bible?", and "Why Do We Serve?". The goal of this series is for students of all backgrounds and experiences with faith to have a deeper understanding of why we pursue relationship with God as we do. We know that the summer months are a time of travel and change for everyone, and so these talks will be designed to stand-alone so that if students need to miss any due to vacations, that they will not miss out on the greater purpose of the series.
