Jesus said: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Our greatest and most important challenge isn’t to "succeed at something", it’s to find a way of life that let’s us live with a conscious awareness of and surrender to God? Our goal must be to "abide in Christ". The truth is...this is what we all want most in life...but we don't know it. Our souls long to experience deep abundant life, but this is only found in in the constant awareness that God is with us! In this series we explore a number of things that can help us grow in this awareness.

In this series we'll look at three decisive days of Jesus' earthly ministry; Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Friday we find Jesus crucified. We'll look at the religious and political forces that put Him on the cross and try to discover not only who put Him there but why? On Saturday, Jesus is in the grave. It's the in between day. The day between Death and Resurrection. We'll look at the significance of Saturday and discover just what it was that Jesus accomplished on our behalf. On Sunday, it's Resurrection! Sin and death are overcome. Jesus has done what no one else could do! He offers His death in substitute for our death, and gives us His eternal life in substitute for our broken lives.

There is no greater joy in life than to see God use you to accomplish something good. When you follow Jesus in His mission that’s when your adventure really begins. We’ll look at God’s call to mission for Nehemiah and learn some valuable lessons that will help us to follow Jesus more fully.
Vision & Mission:
In this series we try to remember who we are (as the Church) and what God calls us to do. We never want to loose sight of Jesus' mission and His call to us to come join Him in that mission. Being on mission with Jesus is where the Christian finds joy, meaning and purpose. We believe our purpose is to follow Jesus in ways that personally transform us...and lead us into authentic community with each other…so that people everywhere can flourish. In this series we'll examine these three aspects of Jesus' mission.

How could a loving God send people to hell? Why does he allow suffering? Can one religion be "right" and the others "wrong"? In this series we will respond thoughtfully to the questions of open skeptics and ardent believers in an effort to demonstrate that faith in the Christian God is the only thing that can make sense of the world in which we live. Faith in Jesus, really does lead to the discovery of freedom, hope and purpose. This series is inspired by Dr. Tim Keller's book, A Reason For God.

A Yale historian named Jerislav Pelikan wrote:
Regardless of what anyone may personally think or believe about Him, Jesus of Nazareth has been the dominant figure in the history of western culture for almost 20 centuries. If it were possible, with some sort of super-magnet, to pull up out of that history every scrap of metal bearing at least a trace of His name, how much would be left?
Not much…that’s for sure. In this series we are asking “What Difference Did It Make….that Jesus came? We’ll see that it made all the difference in the world. Our values, our universities, our hospitals, our government, our calendar, our appreciation of art, music and science, our dream of a better world: all these things are rooted in the Good News about Jesus Christ. It’s the Good News about Jesus that gives us our ultimate hope for the future.

To God Be The Glory!
Our purpose this morning was to give God glory for 25 faithful years of loving, forgiving, growing and using us in the furthering of His Kingdom.
This Sunday morning we invited our members to give thanks and praise to God for how He has worked in their lives through the people at Deer Creek Church. We wanted to celebrate many of the good things that have happened in the past and the good things that God is doing right now in our lives. We hope this Sunday's worship will be a testament to the goodness and faithfulness of our loving Heavenly Father.

Our Vision, Intention and Method.
In this series we are asking God to show us What's Next? What is the Vision or purpose to which God calls us? Are we committed to being who and what God wants us to be as individuals and as a church? And how do we become more like Jesus Himself? This this series we try to find answers to these questions because no matter how long someone has followed Jesus, there is always room to grow...there is always the question: What's Next?

What do you really believe? We all say we believe in Jesus, but are we really living our faith in every area of our lives? This sermon series challenges us to take a deeper at our faith.

The Book of Daniel takes us through the life of an extraordiary servant of God. Daniel, a young Israelite of noble birth, is captured and sent to live in Babylon. Daniel and his friends must learn to follow God in the midst of a culture that is antagonistic to their faith on every front. We'll see Daniel trusting God in the midst of trying and confusing times and finding God both faithful and sufficient to help him live his life in a manner that makes a difference.

In this series we study the book of Hebrews. It's a letter that over and over offers us a picture of Jesus as suffering servant, but victorious Savior. The people to whom the book is addressed are experiencing persecution and are weary and ready to give up their faith. The writer of this book offers them fresh hope by reminding who Jesus is, what Jesus has done, is doing and will do in the future! It's a letter of hope and encouragement for people living in tough times.
