Joscelyn Peters
Hi everyone! My name is Joscelyn Peters and I’m one of the youth leaders for the 7th and 8th grade girls. I’ve lived in Colorado my whole life but went to Dordt University in Iowa for college. There I met my wonderful husband Jordan and we’ve been married for almost 5 years. We love to paddleboard, hike, and read when we have time!

Krista Schallus
Hi there! My name is Krista Schallus. I grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Littleton, CO, with my husband, Matt, in the summer of 2022. After 16 years of playing soccer, I traded my cleats for trail running shoes and now love exploring Colorado’s beautiful mountains and trails. Outside of work as a recruiter, you’ll usually find me cooking, trying new recipes, or hanging friends and family. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to get to know your kiddos and walk alongside them this year!

Prior to working at DCC, Natalie received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration, worked in education and then at Charles Schwab. She is married to Allen, and they have one daughter, Adalyn. She enjoys cooking/baking, hiking, and trying out new foods and restaurants.

I’m originally from Lake St. Louis, Missouri, and I graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. I now work as a professional home organizer and love helping people create peaceful, functional homes. I’ve been married for 10 years, and my husband and I share our home with two very lovable dogs—Merry and Pippin. In my free time, you can usually find me reading, paddleboarding, or listening to Taylor Swift on repeat. I’m really looking forward to getting to know your kids and walking alongside them as they grow in faith, friendship, and confidence.

Corrie Johnson
I’m excited to be helping out with the youth group this year! As a Colorado native with a passion for the outdoors, you’ll often find me biking around town, getting my hands dirty in the garden, exploring local hiking trails, or relaxing with a challenging puzzle. During the day, I homeschool my energetic 2nd, 3rd, and 6th graders. Before this adventure, I spent eight years making math fun (yes, it’s possible!) for middle schoolers. I’m thrilled to connect with the youth and create some great memories together!

Felicia Klausing
I’m Felicia Klausing! I’ve been going to Deer Creek my whole life, and been a youth leader here for six years. In my spare time I like to read and write stories.

Jordan Peters
I’m Jordan Peters. My wife Joscelyn and I have been helping with youth group the last couple years and have loved the relationships built with God and students in this time. I love to hike, paddleboard, and fish (sometimes all 3 at once). I am also pretty passionate about a small wooden toy from Japan called kendama. If your child winds up with one it’s probably my fault but I promise it’ll keep them entertained forever.
