Scott Herrema
Scott serves as our Technical Coordinator, helping out with audio, video, lighting, and livestream systems used in worship. Scott grew up in the church in southwest Michigan and began singing and playing music in middle school. After acquiring his 2-year electronics degree, moving to Denver, and marrying his wife Bev, he spent the next 24 years in the computer business, primarily sales, service and networking. After that, he owned and operated Columbine Ace Hardware for 13 years. Scott and Bev joined Deer Creek Church in 2004. They have 4 adult children – Jordan, Austin, Shelby and Blake – with a growing number of grandchildren. Scott is an entrepreneur at heart who enjoys boating, reading, learning, tinkering, coffee, audio engineering, many styles of music and spending time with the kids and grandkids.
